Dragonfly Wellness to transform wellbeing services with the opening of their new lifestyle studios.

On the 18th of September, 2022 at 12pm Dragonfly Wellness CIC will be opening the doors to their new lifestyle studios to provide studio, online and on demand well-being services to support healthier and happier living. Owners Zara Skidmore (formerly the founder of Bishop's Wellbeing) and Laura Bentley have come together to provide a full schedule of classes, events and community services designed to support the 8-pillars of wellness. The grade II listed building provides the perfect backdrop to their new Sawbridgeworth based venture.

The services will include a variety of classes including breathwork, gentle exercise and movement, creative arts and happiness philosophy will all be available with plans to add more as they grow. With the aim to create a safe space in which transformational growth, personal development and a sense of community can be accessed by those looking to live well and happy.

To ensure the services are accessible to all, the non-profit organisation have pledged to provide access to up to 25% of their services to those who have limited resources, or who have been referred to their services from partner organisation to include: NHS Social Prescribers, The Nest CIC, Red Kite and Women of Grace for free as part of their recovery journey from trauma, mental health or those feeling isolated or lonely.

Co-founders Laura & Zara say, "Having both experienced difficult times in our own lives, we felt it was important to try to give back to those struggling and offer support, that perhaps would have helped us in our own times of need. Well-being is something we are both so passionate about and we want to remove as many barriers to participation as possible."
